Our Story
A church family growing together in Dar.
God’s Tribe brings people of different ages and backgrounds together around faith, friendship and a love for Dar es Salaam. We gather on Sundays, share life in smaller Tribes and make room for one another through all the ordinary and extraordinary seasons of life.
There is space here to be known, to grow, to ask questions and to find people who will walk alongside you. That is the kind of church family we are becoming together.

We exist to make disciples, plant and strengthen churches, and see lives and communities transformed. Our mission is not limited to what happens inside a Sunday gathering; it reaches our homes, our neighbours and the city we share.
Building people. Building our city.
We want to see people rooted in God and connected to one another, with the courage to bring hope and practical love into Dar es Salaam. Our Church Home is part of that journey: a permanent place for worship, children, families and the wider community.

Some Sundays we come full of faith; others we come carrying questions. We open the Bible together, talk honestly about what we read, and let it shape the choices and conversations waiting for us when we go home.
Family
You don’t have to have everything together to belong here. We celebrate good news, sit with each other when life is heavy, share meals, remember names, and make room for people to be known beyond a Sunday greeting.
Growth
None of us has it all figured out. There is room to ask, to begin again, and to take the next small step of faith. We learn from God’s Word and from one another, growing together through every season of life.
Impact
What happens here should matter out there. In the way we care for our families, notice a neighbour who needs help, and serve the city we call home, we want the love we talk about on Sunday to be felt all week.
